Fancy Not Living like a Loser..
Over the weekend I have been thinking of our struggle to
master the vagaries of life through our own blockades of mental fatigue,
fixated minds and mechanical approaches.
As I sit down to key in my thoughts on being a loser in
life, my thoughts go over to much of the journey that I have traversed. I ask
this question, have I been losing and the answer was yes. I look deeper and I
find that every decision that I take has not been mine and for what decisions
have been mine, I never truly tried it hard. At one instance it was just
another mundane transition of thoughts, but the more it came to dwell in me, I
realized that I need to take control of my life, else it will be a life that I
have not lived to my terms. From that time on, I have never lost the game of
life.
I am from a school of thought that we have to be the best in
whatever we do. Else, we are just wasting our time. We should be doing something
else that will make us the best. That leads us to the question as to what are
we best at? After moments of lingering thoughts, we let the thoughts fritter
away in the obscurity of life and continue with our superficial engagement with
life. I urge you to ask this question: what are you good at? Intense thought,
will slowly give way to clarity of thoughts and you will realize that man or
woman was never meant to be good in certain things alone. Successful men and
women master the nuances of life and become successful in life. Simple examples
are you cannot be a result oriented person, if you have a habit of failing and
giving up. Life poses challenges at every corner. Some challenges can be
avoided, but it would come back sometime again. How long can we run away from challenges?
To all of you one advice is “Embrace the change and be the change”. It comes with
some sacrifices and pain, which if endured, you will be epitome of success. Don’t
be a loser in life by giving up at seemingly superficial thoughts that are
shallow and devoid of character of strength. Be resilient, and conquer. Let not
tiredness, let not fixed mindsets, let not mechanical approaches overwhelm you
to propel you into the ravines of failures. The nature of giving up will be the
scar in the face of your life and your mindset will be setting the limits for
you.
Believe in one thing—we are limitless for we believe in our
dreams!!
Arise from the quagmire of defeatism. Arise from the shackles
of self -imposed limitations. Arise from the clutches of the mechanical claws
of life. Experience agony and ecstasy of life, which come alternatively
sometimes successively. Learn to live life and experience it in the fullest.
Learn to channelize the God give abilities to chart out stories of success that
generations after will draw inspiration from. Live life with excitement and joy
of conquests and do not live in the desperation and sorrow of defeats. When you
feel weak and tired - Remember, it’s a choice we made in life!!
